Rated 4 out of 5 by You get what you see and ..... Read this review carefully. It loses my one star, a) for it runs slightly larger in size, b) because the back panel has no back horizontal yoke/seam, no middle vertical seam, and no side double seam. This is a bad idea for any jacket or coat especially as thick as this one. It leaves kinda large air bubble fluff in the back which I dont like. It is worse for this jacket because it snugs too tight at hips when you zip up (even just at bottom), but stays loose at backside mid-area, thus it sometimes looks like a large piece of fabric has been just sewn to the front panel on sides. There has to be some kind of seams either at shoulder yoke, or middle, or two seams at each side to have a more classy look at back. Now, further comments on style. You are getting exactly what it looks like in pictures. So, I am not deducting any points on style itself because that is what you know you are getting. The following is just my feedback on what is for you and for improving the style (if they are reading it), not a fuss or complaint on fit/comfort/ or quality. a) It has incredibly slim fit. It tapers at waist from wider chest area. When you just snap zip at bottom, you will realize that it snugs tight at hips and leaves kinda loose backside in the mid-section of your back. So, if you have bulging stomach or chubby hips etc., then be your own judge. It will be uncomfortable. It is intended for slim, athletic bodies, not chubby ones. The back piece, if not with seams as I described above, should have been cut slightly smaller so as not to bulge so much at back-seams described above would have taken care of this. b) Its collars are spread out. I prefer standing/mock collars better. Collars are borderline between men's and a lady coat. Slightly larger and it would look like some lady queen coat. If you were to stand the collars, then it looks like dracula collars. c) Its sleeves are too wide, and are obvious at wrist end. At the wrist-end, they are too wide for my taste and look like sleeves from ladies coat d) Go one size smaller because they run little bit larger. However, you will have more snugly fit at hips due to its narrower hem, but its a trade-off if you want really classic, trim look overall. Your regular size might work, but I think it would be too big at shoulders and sleeves. Oversize jackets and coats are a big no if you want classy, decent look. e) One size smaller will still work with a layer beneath it for cold weather. Consider how you would be using it. If you want to have several layers for cold winter, then get your normal size. Get one smaller if you want classy look with open front etc. I believe this jacket will keep you warm in cold weather with layers. f) It is more like black onyx, than just black. You wouldn't know with a naked eye though. I compared it with my jet, rich black Tommy H. Faux and surely this color is not as rich black. It is still darker than most black onyx, but one notch less than rich real black. I like jet black rich in color better g) The quality is incredible, and luxurious. Definitely worth the sale price. It feels soft to the touch inside and out, but stays crispy overall. This is definitely for formal businesswear, night out, formal dining etc. but too dressy and flashy for just a stroll. Other than that, I definitely recommend this if you want classy, professional look. Lastly, nothing beats trying it on yourself in real, aside from whatever I say March 17, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by Very Nice Jacket - But Stained Was a great jacket, but had a 6"-7" faded stain along the shoulder & neck line, approximately 2" wide. Appeared to be from liquid or sunlight fading in the one spot. Liked it so much, did not want to return it, did not want to risk not being able to obtain another one. Will try to fix it at a tailor shop. January 9, 2013
